In the first edition of the Solitude Soirée at the Literaturhaus Stuttgart, current fellows of the Akademie Schloss Solitude present literary texts and text-based projects created during their residency at the Akademie.

Kenneth Boa-Amponsem (Ghana) presents installation-based, narrative-driven art inspired by the works of Ghanaian author Ama Ata Aidoo. Marie Gamillscheg (Austria) explores the relationship between nature and society and its impact on interpersonal relationships. Nils Ketterer (Germany) reads from his debut novel Käpt’n Fantastic, which centers on fantastic captains and tropical (relationship) storms in the Caribbean. Seda Tunç (Austria) combines philosophical and political themes in her poetry with a surreal visual language and a cross-genre perspective to explore new forms of expression.

The evening will be moderated by Yeama Bangali.
