Now that the new classical series »Solitude-concerts in the barn – young performers play chamber music« has established itself with its first three concerts, an additional concert takes place in the renovated timbered workshop on Friday, October 17, at 8pm. The Ensemble Gagliano, comprised of Karina Buschinger (violin), Aline Saniter (viola) and Julian Steckel (cello) plays works by Franz Schubert, Max Reger and Ludwig van Beethoven. Additional concerts are planned for 2009.

The Ensemble Gagliano consists of the three outstanding musicians Karina Buschinger, violin (*1978 in Bucharest); Aline Saniter, viola (*1978 in Stuttgart) and Julian Steckel, cello (*1982 in Zweibrücken) and dedicates itself strongly to the string trio genre. The three young musicians studied in Freiburg, Düsseldorf, Vienna and Berlin and are the winners of various renowned competitions both domestically and internationally. They received important artistic inspiration from Rainer and Jürgen Kussmaul, Heinrich Schiff, Gustav Rivinius, Martin Ostertag, among others. They were also intensively promoted as fellows of the Villa Musica foundation. The Ensemble Gagliano is presently recording an entire collection of Ludwig van Beethoven’s string trios with Telos Music Records.
