A literary and musical evening
A literary and musical evening
Free admission. Please register at uki-s@uki-s.de
The literary fellowship for young Hungarian authors was established in 2013 by Professor Péter Horváth, who passed away in 2022. Thanks to his collaborator, this scholarship continues, and the Hungarian Cultural Center upholds the tradition of introducing the award winners as part of a literary evening. Additionally, the selected authors have the opportunity to spend a one-month residency at Akademie Schloss Solitude and the Literary Colloquium Berlin.
The current scholarship recipient, Sándor Pál-Kovács, will read from his poetry collection Daloskönyv (Songbook) in both German and Hungarian on November 20 at the Hungarian Cultural Center – Liszt Institute Stuttgart. He will be accompanied musically by pianist Máté Dömötör and bassist Csongor Kiss.
The selected poems were translated into German by Orsolya Kalász, who will also host the evening.
We look forward to a special literary and musical evening with a festive conclusion.
