The Russian poet Angelina Polonskaja will read her new poems on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 8 p.m., at Akademie Schloss Solitude. Amongst others, she will present excerpts from her new publication Schwärzer als Weiß that was published in March 2015 at Leipziger Literaturverlag.
The Russian poet Angelina Polonskaja will read her new poems on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 8 p.m., at Akademie Schloss Solitude. Amongst others, she will present excerpts from her new publication Schwärzer als Weiß that was published in March 2015 at Leipziger Literaturverlag.
Angelina Polonskaja, born 1969 near Moscow/Russia, blends European and Russian poetic traditions and writes about snow, coldness, love, and betrayal.
The German translations will be read by Barbara Stoll. In the course of the evening, Angelina Polonskaja and Jean-Baptiste Joly will talk about her works and her artistic development as a poet.
The reading will be held in Russian, German and English.
