Tilman Ramstedt (born 1975 in Bielefeld) studied philosophy and comparative literature in Edinburgh, Tübingen and Berlin. Text writer for the group “Fön – texts on music” and permanent member of the literary stage group “Visch & Ferse” in Berlin.
Numerous essays and short stories include: “Eine Froschkönigin” (together with Silke Schmidt, 1999), “L., die Jahreszeit und ich auch” (in: BELLAtriste – Zeitschrift für junge Literatur, 1/2001), “Ausflug mit L.” (in: Berlin pages of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 280/2001), “Aufwachsen in einem freudianischen Haushalt” (in: EDIT – Papier für neue Texte, 27/2001).
2003 publication of his first novel “Erledigungen vor der Feier” (DuMont, 2003). Laureate of the Open Mike Festival, Literaturwerkstatt Berlin (2001).
Tilman Rammstedt was in Budapest in April and May 2006.
