POETRY SLAM

The poetry slam is open to those who wish to recite or read aloud an original poem or short piece of literature in English for a live audience. If you would like to read, please visit our facebook page to sign up. As a special bonus to participating poets, in collaboration with Akademie Schloss Solitude, there will be a post-slam creative writing workshop held at Schloss Solitude. As featured readers, we’ll have Akademie Schloss Solitude fellows Kinga Tóth and Michelle Sterling, plus the live band SÜDSOUL playing contemporary American soul and jazz! The audience will be the jury. Bring your friends!
