Concert by Neil Luck at Neue Schachtel

A concert of wild experimental music given by current Solitude fellow Neil Luck, alongside British musician Laurie Tompkins and the Hamburg based duo Louis d’Heudieres & Nina Kuttler. Expect mad Karaoke, mutant folk, spoken word, electronics, animal calls, and songs coaxed from an orchestra of household objects.

The evening starts with a pre-concert talk between Neil Luck and Nico Angermann as part of the Apotheose artist series.

Nina Kuttler and Louis d’Heudières are artists living in Hamburg. Motivated by ecological awareness and a sense of interconnectedness between species, time, self and others, they serve sonic soups of introspection and decomposition that combine spoken text, mangled electronics and songs coaxed from an orchestra of household objects.

Laurie Tompkins is a British musician. Here he performs his material from his recent albums on Hyperdelia. A crazed, odd, solo karaoke set of guttural noise, weird songs, baffling, stage presence.

Neil Luck performs a set of new mutant folk songs for voice, guitar, objects, leaves, electronics.
