Helmut Lachenmann: »Allegro Sostenuto« for clarinet, violoncello and piano

Helmut Lachenmann runs a workshop with students of the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart (classes professor Caspar Johannes Walter and Mario Stroppa). Together with the musicians Carl Rosman (clarinet), Séverine Ballon (violoncello) and Mark Knoop (piano) he gives insights into his piece »Allegro Sostenuto«.
On the second day of the workshop the students will meet the composer Erik Ulman, who was a student of Helmut Lachenmann in 1995/1996 in Stuttgart.
Carl Rosman was a fellow of the Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2002, Séverine Ballon is a fellow of the 2007/2009 generation.
The workshop is open to the interested public.
