HALF–WAY BETWEEN SEDUCTION AND PRODUCTION

Starts at 4 pm, Experimentierbühne Heusteigtheater, Heusteigstraße 45, 70180 Stuttgart

The students of IMG will present work over the course of an 8 hour time frame, ranging from static object to diffused audio. Utilizing the theater as a space of seduction and production the audience/visitors/guests also become producers of culture/jurors/participants. Performances and projections will occur between 7 and 9 pm.

Cara Benedetto is the first cooperation fellow of Akademie Schloss Solitude in collaboration with Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart.

A FINAL PROJECT THAT WILL OCCUR BETWEEN US, AND THE SPACES THAT WE’VE MADE

More than one object, more than one time based work, more than one audio piece. We will once again ask, demand, and set up a space in which the audience will join as Participants as Artists as All. The focus will fall upon the transitions between all works in order to create a dynamic event.
