In cooperation with the Institut Français de Stuttgart, French artist Roselyne Titaud from Saint-Etienne (Région Rhône-Alpes) was invited to spend three months at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in 2009. Both institutions presented her with the task of photographing the studios of Solitude fellows with the aim of artistically objectifying the Akademie’s work in commemoration of their anniversary and also of providing the public with a view of life inside the institution. The results of Roselyne Titaud’s efforts are being shown as part of an exhibition at the Institut Français. A bilingual catalogue is planned, to be realized with the support of ADERA (association of art institutions in the Rhône-Alpes region).
