Each year, the Klangraum Festival gives a “carte blanche” to fellows at the Akademie. Éric Marty, who works in the area of interactive electronic music and sound art, will present a multimedia performance especially for this festival.
Éric Marty (*1969 in San Francisco, USA) works as a composer and sound artist. He teaches sound art and interactive installation at the University of Georgia, USA. His sound installations have been presented at the Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (2003), at the World Music Days in Zagreb (2005) and the International Digital Media and Art Association Conference in Ohio (2006). Marty has been a fellow at the Academy since 2006.
