An interdisciplinary dialog about regional development with lectures, discussions and performances in the context of the »Architecture & …« exhibition.

Lectures 2 p.m., performance 7 p.m.

The construction of a region consists of a complex interaction of political, economical and cultural processes. The workshop »Muitas Vozes (Many Voices) or How to Build Localities« combines lectures by political and economical protagonists and researchers from Brazil and Germany with presentations about urban planning and performing arts. They will discuss about the cinematic presentation of urban space in modern Yugoslavia and how a region can be affected by musical interventions of immigrants. The workshop draws attention to the different conditions, methods and conflicts which are conncted with urban planning and regional development.

After the lectures, the Babel collective will present its performance. The collective was founded for the international music theatre project »Babel«, which takes place between October 18 and November 16, 2013.

The workshops ends after a panel discussion with all speakers.
