In the simplest terms Digital Poems are born from the combination of technology and poetry, with writers/poets using all multi-media elements as critical texts. Sounds, images, movement, video, interface/interactivity and words are combined to create new poetic forms and experiences.
Additionally the digital poet transforms code, programs game engines, breaks and rethinks software, builds impossible interactions through poetic wondering/wanderings.
So over the 4 weeks, I will be creating a new digital poem every two days. Each new digital poem will be interlinked, exploring interface and interactivity in variant ways. With the hope of creating 14 new digital poems.
So, imagine this work as a book length of digital poems. With each digital poem exploring interactivity, media, text and code in, dare I say, innovative and unique ways.
Experimenting with digital wonderments to create all manner of curious poetic creatures.
Lastly, I will attempt to disperse the works, both on this site, but elsewhere, to draw in readers/watchers/players/explorers to your portal. Small strange attractors, drawing oddities via the wires.
