Daniel Hjorth

Geboren 1973 in Mellbystrand/Schweden.

Studium der Komposition in Gotland und Malmö.

Arbeitet als freier Komponist.

Zahlreiche Aufführungen u.a.: „Drum for Your Life“ (1999/2000), „Saxophony“ (2000), „Stop“ (2000, Artgenda, Helsinki), „Rainbow Dance“ (2000/01), „Ikea-Ad lib“ (2001, Ikea-Geschäfte, Malmö).

1996 Erster Preis des Kompositionswettbewerbs des Gotland Kammermusikfestivals für „Blood, Death and Sexy Legs“. 1997 Erster Preis des Kompositionswettbewerbs des Schwedischen Radio Symphonie Orchesters für „Crop Circles“.
