We are happy to announce that the new projects of the Call »Post-Doom« by Johanna Hedva are online!

The Post-Doom Call by Johanna Hedva has given rise to four works by web residents Uma Breakdown, Shirin Fahimi, Peter Polack, and Danae Tapia. All offer transformative applied-media practices to generate connections to long-forgotten methods of prediction and alternative narratives with new media technologies. Fantastic stories are told around the campfire, bot systems generate cyclical autopietic associative spaces with a divinatory character; an encounter involving a fictional spiritually-experienced female is animated, and proposed algorithms map strategies to counter-represent speculative doomsday scenarios.
